The Human Body

Why Do So Many Doctors Support HGH?

Is staying fit and healthy important to you? Being physically active, eating a good diet and taking nutritional supplements may definitely make you healthier. But what about the aging process? No matter what we do, we continue to get older and develop various age-related changes in the body. In fact, over 100 million

Americans currently suffer from the debilitating effects of degenerative diseases, which directly result from the process of aging. This accounts for about 90% of all diseases in America today. If we can solve the problems associated with aging, we can eliminate over 50% of all disease virtually overnight!

But is the aging process as unstoppable as it seems? Fortunately, the answer is NO. One of the major contributors to the process of aging is the declining levels of certain key hormones. Latest scientific research shows that the body’s maintenance, repair and regulating systems are damaged as these hormones drop to low levels.

Body: Heal Thyself

The human body is nothing short of remarkable. It can, simply with a little time, heal its own cuts, make scrapes vanish and scars fade. Hair and fingernails can be cut and groomed again and again, but they are always replenished. The body is amazingly complex, delicate and strong at once, with the mind-reeling ability to heal itself in any number of ways. Most minor problems don’t even require medical attention. However, when a bigger problem, such as trouble with a major organ like the heart, liver or kidneys occurs, doctors step in to aid the body in its own natural healing process.

For centuries doctors and healers in the modern worlds have put their full attention on the physical body, the mechanism itself. The body was basically treated like a machine. As new understanding was gained of the power of one’s thinking, feeling, and emotions, the body began to be understood as interconnected with the environment, the society, and not at all as a machine. Now, rather than relying on surgery or drugs, people are looking to less invasive techniques to promote their health.

Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery

Beverly Hills plastic surgery is generally the stuff of legends and movie stars with actors and actresses doing their best to “improve” their looks with the help of a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon and his magical tools of the trade. But what is really behind the beautiful exterior and the Hollywood hills?

Does plastic surgery lead to happiness and greater life fulfillment or does it represent emptiness and a superficiality that is often reserved for the richer among us? There is no right or wrong answer, but there is certainly an avenue for examination and there is no fault in that.

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Beverly Hill reports that, on average, she is visited by about thirty-five women a day and forty-five men. As hard as it may be to believe, Dr. Hill suggests that men have a great tendency to feel a sense of imperfection due to the unreasonable standards they hold their women to.

Low and High Blood Sugar Symptoms

Can you tell whether your blood glucose (BG) is too high, too low, or okay without checking with your BG monitor? Some people have symptoms that give them clues. However, for many people, these symptoms do not appear until the blood glucose levels are quite far out of the target range.

Keep in mind that blood glucose levels can change very rapidly under certain circumstances. Therefore, you may still be experiencing “hang over” symptoms from one extreme when you begin to experience the symptoms of the other extreme from over treatment.

Vitamin E for the Heart

It is commonly believed that Vitamin E plays an important role in treating and preventing cardiovascular disease. Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin present in many foods and even stored in fat-tissues of the body.

The benefits of vitamin E for the heart most likely lies with the antioxidant effects, preventing the formation of free radicals. The free radicals contribute to artherosclerosis by increasing plaque build up in the heart vessels. Vitamin E also decreases platelet aggregation, thus decreasing plaque size. It is also believed that vitamin E helps to decrease total cholesterol and LDL levels (the bad cholesterol) and therefore, helping the heart.

Surfer’s Ear

What is surfer’s ear?

The term “surfer’s ear” refers to a progressive build-up of bone within the ear canal, presumably due to long-term exposure to cold-water temperatures. The human body does not like cold water next to the eardrum and, if this occurs over a period of years, will adapt by reducing the size of the ear canal with bony growths. Surfer’s ear may interfere with the normal clearance of earwax, skin-debris, and moisture from the ear canal. If this condition is not caught the ear canal can completely and permanently close causing ear infections and/or major hearing loss.

The Lymphatic System

The lymphatic system is responsible for fighting disease. Similar to the circulatory system, lymphatic vessels transport fluid known as lymph. Lymph contains immunity cells known as lymphocytes and are filtered through lymphnodes.

This system runs in the underarms, neck, chest, abdomen, and groin. It is also present in the spleen and bone marrow. Lymph tissue is found in the stomach, colon, and skin.

Lymphoma is the development of new tissue growths in the lymphatic system. It occurs when too many white blood cells are present. Typically the body produces new cells as needed.
